Competition structure

This is intended to be a paid, judged skill competition. Entrants must submit 300-600 words and may upload one optional mood board. The winner is chosen by the published judging criteria, not at random.

Entry

Entry fee £25. One completed entry per person. UK residents aged 18 or over. Entries open 1 August 2026 at 09:00 and close 1 October 2026 at 17:00, UK time.

Prize

Five nights at Astraea House for up to 10 guests, subject to apartment capacity and availability, plus selected local restaurant meals and activities from the winning plan, up to a total retail value of £5,000 including accommodation. Travel, alcohol, spending money and cash alternatives are excluded. Unused value is forfeited.

Judging

Astraea House judging panel with one demonstrably independent judge. Tie-break: Highest originality score, then the independent judge's final decision.

Referral reward

If a valid entrant uses another paid entrant’s first valid referral link and then wins, the referrer receives 50% off the accommodation element of one future Astraea stay, capped at £750, for one booking of at least five nights. The reward is valid for 12 months, subject to availability, non-transferable, not combinable with other offers and has no cash alternative. Self-referrals and duplicate identities are invalid. Referrals never affect judging.
